The Double Page Spread (Left Hand Side) – Draft 2

The Double Page Spread (Left Hand Side) – Draft 2

The title of the article will take up two lines with the bottom line shorter the one on top. This makes the title come in a little. The title will be in the text of Viner Hand ITC to link with the title of the cover and the contents page, so that it shows the importance of it. It will be in blue so that it links the masthead on the cover and contents page.

The name of the writer of the article will be just under the title of the article. But the name will not be as long as the bottom line of the title, therefore bring in the lines some more. I like the way that this looks and it also give room for one of the images. It will be written in Viner Hand ITC text to show that it is just as important, but it will be in white to show that it is not a part of the title.

The article will be divided up into four columns of text; this is because it makes it look like an in depth article but it doesn’t take you that long to read through the different columns. It will be in Arial text in the size 12 or 14, so that there can be a lot to the article. The main text will be in white so that it stands out from the background and is easy to read. The subheading will be in green as this goes with the Nightcore idea as adding a colour to the colour scheme like this and only using it in the articles of the magazine is something that other magazines don’t do. Therefore it goes with the experiment side of Nightcore.

There will be four different images on this page. Three of them will be single images of the band members. This helps the reader to get to know them separately, and the article will talk a bit about them separately to. And there will be one group shot of them, and this one will be in the space that the title and the name create by the way that they are written.

The page number will be ‘Page 17’ and it will be written in old fashioned text. This is so that it links in with the other page numbers throughout my magazine, and it will also be in blue.

The music colour is in the bottom left hand corner of the page and will show the reader what genre of music the article is on about. When this is used with the key on the contents page the reader will know what article that they might be interested in. The colour will depend on the genre of music that the article is talking about. This also goes with the Nightcore part of the magazine as it is another experiment that I hope will work, and the reason that it hasn’t been done before is the fact that my magazine will be the first multi genre magazine.
