Cover - Draft 4

This is my final cover idea and I like way that the main image has the underline of Gothic just like what I was looking for. The model that I used for my cover is smiling which is indexical for happiness, which works with the Nightcore and the techno side of the magazine. She is also looking at the reader; this will create interest in the magazine and draw attention, then after the reader has finished looking at the image, then their attention will move on to the masthead and to the cover lines.

The way that she is dressed adds to the Gothic look; with the old fashioned lace on the front of her top and the black lace elbow sleeves. The colour black has a connotation of the dark and evil but when you think about it being a Gothic colour then the connotation of hiding, being a cast out and wanting to disappear. The connotation of the red that she is also wearing is, blood and danger. But again when you think of it being Gothic, it backs up the idea of her wanting to hind and it also being a colour that make other people think of danger then it is easy for her to be ignored by other people just how she wants. And all of the colours all link up as she s wearing a black and red top which links in with the red chocker and the long black necklace. And that goes with the red bead spider in her hair and the black lace elbow sleeves.

The cover lines have moved around a bit so that they fit in more and  a quote has been added to two of them. And I added the web site to the bottom of the cover.
