Image Choice
Good posse and nice way of using the clothes
to show that Gothic under tones of the magazine. The bead spider was very well
placed, and also brings some colour to the photo, and it also picks out the
other colours of the clothes even though the text of the cover dose all that
much.
Masthead
I like the name that was used and the font as
this makes it stand far out and grabs the attention of people passing by. The
shadowing really helps it to do this as it brings it out into a 3D sort of
effect. The contrast between the colour of the masthead and the glow effect of
the masthead also grabs attention.
Cover Lines
The cover lines being such a brighter colour
helps them to stand out and be read from a far. I like the main cover line best
as it sits on its own shape, and this helps it stands out more than the
others. The 'about' of every cover line being in the same font (but that font
still from the rest of the cover line) links with the selling line, that it is
all about more than just one type of music.
Font Choices
I like how there is not that many different
types of fonts. I also like how with some of the fonts, the same font is used
but is given a different effect to make it look at little different.
Colour Template
I like that it is mostly dark colours as that
goes well with the three main genres that you have used and this also ties in
really well with the masthead.
Improvements
- The colour of the selling line is to close
to the sort of colouring of the background.
