Cover – Draft 3

I have changed the cover a little from the second draft. What I have changed is the poison of the bar code, date line, and the price. This is so they don’t cover up the patterning on the background.

I replaced cover line 2 with the main cover line and I made the main cover line purple (like what cover line 2 should have been). I did this as it made it look more like a normally magazine and will help my magazine fit in and because it looked to crowed with all four cover lines on it. I also put a shape behind the main cover line to help show that it is the main cover line.

I changed the selling line to ‘The magazine about multi genre music’ as it is shorter and fits better across the top of the page.

I changed the masthead from ‘About Darken Tech’ to ‘Dark Tech’ because the before the masthead looked like it was one of the cover lines. Then I added some effects to it so that it stood out a lot more than the cover line and everything else on the page.

The last thing that I have changed between draft 2 and draft 3 is the main image, because the look more natural and a lot less staged when they are just standing there like they are now.

I took the photo of the models in front of a white sheet background, which I then used photoshop to loop the three models and place them on the other background. I thing that it worked very well and they seem to fit very well.
