The Contents Page – Draft 2
 

The title (Contents) will be written in Viner Hand ITC, this will show its importance like the masthead of the cover page. It will also be in white as this will stand out well against the black background.

The masthead will be the same as on the cover only it will be much smaller. This is because this is what other magazine do, so it will help my magazine fit in with other magazine a bit. It will located on the right hand side of the page on the same line as the title.

The date line will be the same as on the cover and will be under the title of the page. Again this is like what other magazines do and it just gets it out of the way.

Column:

>The page number will be written in old fashioned text, this is so it will go with the other numbers e.g. the page number at the bottom of the page. It will be in purple so that it stands out for the other text.

>Column of article titles, there will be some examples. The titles will be written in Arial text, as it is easier to read in smaller fonts. They will be written in blue so that it stands out as important like the masthead on the cover.

>Who wrote the article this will be written in Arial text, as it is easier to read in smaller fonts. And the text will be in white so that the shows that it is different to the title and the page number of the articles at a slight glance.

The page number (of the images) will be an old fashioned font so that it links with the other page numbers on this page and with the page numbers throughout the magazine.it will be in purple to link with the page numbers of the articles in the column.

The article titles (of the images) will be written in Arial, as it is easier to read in smaller fonts. The text will be in blue so that it links up with the titles of the articles in the column.

The music colour key will consist of these colours –

Blue – Nightcore

Green – House

Black – Gothic

Purple – Pop

Red – Other

Orange – Techno

Grey – Metal

Pink – Dance

White – All

Brown – Rock

The page number (at the bottom of the page) will read page 1, as it is the page number of the current page, which is on the first page of the magazine. It will be in old fashioned text so that it links with the other numbers on the page. But it will be in blue to show that it is not just showing the page number of an article.
