Today, I decoded
what makes a college magazine cover and design my own magazine cover. And I
took the photos for it. I took lots of pictures of people talking in different
parts of the college as I believe that this shows the social side of the
college. I think that this is partly the reason that most of the students came
to farnham in the first place, because it is a smaller school you can get to
know people by name and find then after lessons easier.
I want my magazine
cover to show the social side to the college and catch people's attention as
this is what the students like doing when they are not working. I also want the
contents page to awaken the creative side of the audience as I think this will
keep them interested in my magazine.
After my
first Photoshop lesson I learnt a little about the layers and why they are
used, and why they are seen as useful. I also changed the back ground colours
of some of the photos but decided against use that function when it comes to
making my cover and contents pages.
